Now I don’t have a letter, bill, or your stimmy in my bag, but damnit I do play the part don’t I? This postman inspired look is definitely the perfect way to rock your bermuda shorts for this summer!

I’m always thinking of ways to go outside my comfort zone and these bermuda shorts from H&M screamed my name. I’ve never worn bermuda shorts a day in my life and yet – they intrigued the hell out of me. I love these in-particular because of the material. Classic dress pant feel, this is a great solution for those returning back to corporate life. Throw on a blazer and some heels, or even tennis shoes and you instantly have a workplace appropriate and fashion forward look. Then here comes this cropped padded tee popping up on my Facebook ads and I knew this was the perfect match to the shorts. Originally I was going to go with a grey fedora for a more classic look, but in my efforts of highlighting and celebrating more Black fashion brands here in my city (new series coming soon) I copped this bomb mesh baseball hat from Profield Reserve and instantly transformed into Mrs. Postman.

Bermuda shorts are definitely the vibe this season, whether dressed down for a casual ensemble or up for a true fashionista fit. Either way, you can’t go wrong!
