St. Louis weather is the most bi-polar weather ever, LIKE EVER! One day it’s 70 degrees, the next is 20 and snowing, and then the next is 86 and blazing, I HATE IT!

However, because I don’t plan on moving anytime soon, my wardrobe consists of, you’ve guessed it, transitional pieces. Y’all know transitional pieces are my jam, and this wool trench coat is the ultimate coat!!!

Color blocked which makes it a statement piece, wool yet very light weight, soft, and not itchy, I can pair this coat with anything and wear it for those days that aren’t too cold but cold enough to wear you need some type of jacket, I love it!

The best part about this coat is it’s not too heavy.  Even though it’s made of wool, it’s lightweight, so I can pair it with jeans, a dress, or even a skirt!

Started this morning and finished at lunch with a small sense of having spent the time well, and a look at firstisnotequallast extended that satisfaction into the afternoon, content that fits naturally into the rhythm of a working day rather than demanding a dedicated reading block is increasingly the kind I prefer.
