Style Guide: How to Rock Pink for Summer!

This was the song that was going through my mind as I perused Downtown, bearing as much skin as I could.

You guys know I’m all about body positivity, but even within that there were still things I was uncomfortable with, for example – my arms. I jokingly call my them my turkey arms, but there was a long time where even in the summer, I would only wear certain things or purposely wear things that would cover my arms. This summer, I’m not doing that anymore – turkey arms and all, I’m showing up, out, and everything this season!

This weekend I ended up going to a well overdue Brown family reunion and wanted something flowy and vibrant, and my ruffle detail dress from H&M was spot on. I decided to pair them with some gorgeous velvet pink open toed mules, never worn I should mention, for a monochromatic look. To top it off, I rocked an oldie but goodie of mine – my polka dot gemmed double sided cltutch from ALDO.
