How to Create Custom Instagram Highlight Covers!
Instagram highlights are the newest and probably best tool for any blogger or creative entrepreneur (I literally sat, waiting for Just Blogger’s account to be able to have the highlight capability).
Instead of your Instagram story disappearing after 24 hours, you can now save your stories as highlights! In addition, you can create multiple highlight categories to express who you are or what your brand is all about!!!
So how do you create a cover? It’s hella easy (I’m from St. Louis-hella is a word). 1st, download a icon with a transparent background and use a service such as Canva, Befunky, or PicMonkey:
Once you create and save your image, go to Instagram and upload your image:
Once you upload your Pic, go to your story and save it under your desired highlight category. If you don’t have any highlights created, go to your profile, click the + button and create your highlight category:
Once added to your highlight category, go to your profile, click on the highlight category and select “Edit Highlight” under the three dots on the right:
Click “Edit cover” and choose your new photo:
Wala!!!!
